Mindset Career Path Teacher Training:

[From the Student Training Description] Mindset Career Path offers workshops for students to focus on exploring various career paths and personal interests. Students gain professional experience and develop a new set of skills they can highlight on a resume or college application. Our customized training provides kids the transferable skills they need to be considered for newfound and previously unattainable job or internship opportunities. The idea is to get kids qualified for internships and jobs while in high school through building transferable workplace and relationship-building skills. These jobs will allow them to be more engaged in their future, their careers and allow them to explore their passions and interests before graduating from high school and possibly attending college. Mindset Career Path will offer a series of workshops that we will house at LHS, focused on workplace simulations and group collaboration for students to develop the skills mentioned above

Teachers will learn, model and apply these skills so when they are working with these kids moving forward they can teach these essential transferable career and relationship skills. will be toolbox items for teachers to use once they complete the program including scripts, templates, best practices and resources they can utilize to engage students and be able to train them on specific interpersonal skills.
